As a result of a recent merger, our name has changed from Joint-Automatic Identification Technology (J-AIT) to Automated Movement and Identification Solutions (AMIS). See the news item link below for additional information. We strive to ensure a seamless transition during this time and remain committed to supporting our customers. Please stay tuned for updates.

AMIS is the Army Product Management Office for total RFID and AIT solutions. As an RFID technology leader, we provide global asset tracking and web-based RF-ITV services through the upgrade, implementation, and maintenance of the RF-ITV system. We offer a single point of contact for acquisition support and technical expertise for Joint Services, Federal agencies, NATO, and multi-national forces by establishing and maintaining contract vehicles for the procurement of AIT products and services.

AMIS offers complete program life cycle support while providing the joint war fighter and coalition partners with automated, near real-time ITV of their materiel and equipment worldwide. We also support multi-national information sharing by the DOD with NATO and coalition partners. We strive to provide and sustain premier transportation and distribution IT solutions to move the Soldier and enable the Army's transformation to a net-centric fighting force.
